NCC Army wing at KCT was established in 2006 with 62 cadets under 5TN girls Bn. NCC ARMY WING.

We the 5(TN) girls BN NCC presently have 34 successful cadets of the year 2 and 3. We were trained hard to be successful in our journey. We are exposed to a regimental way of life which is essential to inculcate the values of discipline, duty, punctuality, orderliness, smartness, respect for the authorities, correct work ethos and self- confidence.

We had given our best performance in all the CATC, TSC and RDC camps and received the best drill performance awards. Our cadets had experienced trekking in the Kanchan Surya Darjeeling Trekking Camp. Two of our cadets had achieved the best in the Thal Sainik Camp. We had been trained to organize and conduct events. We are proud to share that one of our seniors is in the army currently working at Meerut as the Captain. Our wing shows active participation in all social activities. We concentrate more in developing leadership qualities. As women, we must have courage to face anything and so we are trained hard. In the crowd of thousands, a personnel in uniform, always stands out. NCC has given us the sense of responsibility, leadership skills and being a fighter in the long run.
